Ekayburg was a Grade 2 AQPS winner in France but disappointed on his UK debut at Chepstow last month, finding little for pressure. Laughing Luis isn't one of Nicky Henderson's stable stars but should give a good account, while point winner Early Learner has been given time to mature after a poor debut at Market Rasen 11 months ago. The most solid option could be EYRESHILL, who should enjoy this drop in trip after finishing just four-and-a-half lengths behind the smart Shannon Hill at Stratford last time out.
French bumper winner EKAYBURG couldn't get the job done when favourite on his recent hurdle/stable debut but is evidently well regarded and this could represent a nice opportunity for him to make amends. It hasn't clicked over hurdles for Laughing Luis yet but his bumper ability provides hope for better and he may provide the main threat with Eyreshill far from sure to be suited by the drop to 2m.

Gordon Elliott runs two here in the shape of King's Song and Rightdownthemiddle, with both warranting a market check, while Regulation ran better than his fifth spot suggested at Plumpton last time and he could make his presence felt. Preference, however, is for OSCAR HOOF, who was second to a decent yardstick in the shape of Mizen Master at Worcester last time and could strike on just his second start for Ian Williams.
OSCAR HOOF is clearly not the easiest to train, yet showed plenty of ability remains intact on the back of 16 months off when runner-up in a Worcester claimer in August. Given time since, he could be worth chancing to come out on top. The admirable Regulation and Never Equalled can give the selection most to think about.

KLOUD GATE makes plenty of appeal on the best of his Flat form in the summer and could be capable of taking advantage of what could be a lenient opening handicap mark here. The Go Tou Man completely flopped at Hereford last time, but that run was too bad to be true and he is respected on his earlier showing at Southwell. Miro makes just his second start for David Pipe and requires a market check, with Lord Marmaduke's best appearance coming at this venue.
KLOUD GATE's useful Flat ability means he could be very well treated off an opening hurdle mark of 108 and he's a strong fancy in a contest where none of the opposition arrives with particularly compelling claims. Miro did at least make a reasonable start for David Pipe when fourth at Exeter recently and may prove best of them.

Top Rock Talula was still in contention when unseating Gavin Sheehan at the third last at Plumpton last month and is respected here off the same rating with Daryl Jacob taking over in the saddle.
