BADGERFORT got off the mark in impressive fashion when scoring by 12 lengths at Cork last month, and that form was given a boost when the fourth went on to score, so he is fancied to make a winning hurdling bow. Martello Tower warrants plenty of respect, though, as he scored in a Fairyhouse bumper and was fourth a competitive Listed hurdle event prior to that. Some Drama is consistent and looks the best of the rest.

DARWINS FOX bounced back to form when reverting to hurdles under a more prominent ride at Fairyhouse, and if those new tactics have unlocked his potential, he looks capable of going one better in this company. LIKE IT A LOT went agonisingly close at Cork in March and can begin repaying his 75,000 euro sales fee with a breakthrough success here. MEMORIES OF MILAN was narrowly touched off in a more competitive race at Punchestown and the extra two furlongs should be ideal on the evidence of the way he finished with a flourish there. The son of Milan goes up 3lb for that run, but a rise in the weights is negated by his excellent conditional who takes 7lb off, and he looks the one to side with. Fethard Player looked tapped for toe over a sharper trip at Limerick so can also improve for the sterner test, while Oscars Business got to within eight lengths of On His Own two starts ago, but needs to put his latest below-par performance over hurdles behind him.

THE HERDS GARDEN seemed to improve a great deal for better ground at Limerick and there was enough promise in that one-length defeat to suggest he can go one better here. Ballychorus was a half-length clear of the selection when they both disappointed at Navan and may be a danger if bouncing back. The 100,000 euros purchase Fort Smith has yet to show his true potential but it would come as no shock to see him get on the premises.
