Verdict

COUNT HENRY has jumped from tough draws and run very well. He tries the straight track at Kenilworth and is worth watching. VERDIER showed potential on debut here a few months back and may be the one with big improvement to come. He is bred for further. BLACK PARROT went too far last time. Stable mate PRIDE ROCK may just need it. COPPER FORCE and TELAMON must be considered.

Verdict

Unbeaten Gimmethegreenlight filly PRIMROSE LANE could make the grade in this much stronger line up. She has done little wrong and her times aren't bad either. CHAMPERY is best in at the weights on current ratings but she races after quite a layoff and may just need it. ROCK ON BABY is lightly raced but talented and back for another raid at the Cape. Verdict

ROYAL GINGER has beaten quite a few of these and rounding into a career best performance. He switches to Kenilworth but has run well here. PADDINGTON is a youngster who showed little on sprint debut but may be looking for the longer trip. SEA PASS wasn't far off ROYAL GINGER last time and improving.
