QUEL DESTIN only found one too good on his debut for these connections at Chepstow a week ago and he sets the standard. Ghost Serge is likely to be the main threat based on his victory at Perth late last month, although he needs to improve to beat the selection. Tazka showed ability despite not winning on the level and she could make her mark over timber.
QUEL DESTIN shaped best of all under a penalty when second on his first run for Paul Nicholls at Chepstow last week and can give the trainer a third straight win in this juvenile event. Perth-winner Ghost Serge looks the one for the forecast ahead of Tazka.

A PLACE APART got off the mark at Downpatrick nine days ago and he could take plenty of beating on his chase bow, despite the English handicapper allotting him a mark of 115. Tikkinthebox has not been at his very best of late but he was successful at Newton Abbot in July and it is too soon to be writing him off, while Way Out West is entitled to improve for his recent comeback run.
Nigel Twiston-Davies has his team in very good form and it might be worth taking a chance on JABULANI getting his career back on track now chasing after a break. A Place Apart makes a quick switch to fences after his recent maiden hurdle success and is much respected for Gavin Cromwell, while Battle of Ideas appeals as the sort who could go on to better things now chasing.

A small field but all of these arrive here with claims, none more so than GRAND SANCY, who won a competitive handicap hurdle at Chepstow last weekend. A wind operation earlier in the year appears to have helped this four-year-old and he may continue to improve. Leapaway is rated 7lb superior to the selection but, while he has been winning impressively, the rivals that he has beaten over the summer have been of poor quality. It would be no surprise to see either of Higgs or Itchy Feet go well and the latter has the benefit of a recent run under his belt.
A fascinating race in store despite the field size. ITCHY FEET didn't need to come off the bridle to land the odds on his recent hurdles bow at Southwell, and he could well take a big leap forward and improve past Grand Sancy and Leapaway.

ONE OF US was thrown in at the deep end for his chase debut at Uttoxeter last time and, not disgraced that day, he could be well treated stepping back up in trip and with cheekpieces now applied. Baron Du Plessis proved to be a perennial bridesmaid last season, but remains on a workable mark, while Elkstone was in rude health in the summer, scoring twice, but was held off his current mark last time and may need help from the assessor now.
ONE OF US made an encouraging start over fences at Uttoxeter in May and is taken to build on that returning from a break. Closest Friend and Baron du Plessis are a couple of interesting rivals.

ADMIRAL BARRATRY almost caused a surprise when last seen at Newbury and a repeat of that useful second behind Lostintranslation, a race in which subsequent Grade 1 winner Black Op and the useful Simply The Betts were behind, may well suffice. Hugos Horse is interesting returning from the pointing field wearing the famous colours of The Stewart Family, with Wallace Spirit also respected having produced a useful performance here in the spring.
ADMIRAL BARRATRY was amongst some smart hurdlers when runner-up at Newbury 10 months ago and should prove hard to beat if in the same sort of form on his return. Wallace Spirit is likely to pose the main threat.
