A number of these come into this on the back of promising opening efforts while a couple of the more experienced runners boast sound claims, too. Entitling caught the eye when fifth on his Nottingham debut, similarly Fiesole, fourth on his introduction at Wolverhampton, and debut runner-up Inexes. Putting Green and Sonnolento appear to be improving with experience judging by their respective recent silver medal tapeta finishes and are both worth considering but it might be worth taking a chance on the beautifully bred NEW STYLE, a half-sister to the high-class Dream Ahead and representing a stable boasting a terrific record at this venue.

Watch out for: Entitling (2)

An interesting maiden featuring a plethora of potential improvers and a couple of likely newcomers in New Style and Sumeida. Inexes showed plenty on debut to finish second despite obvious signs of greenness so is selected to go one better, with Fiesole and Sonnolento feared most.

The selection was really well backed prior to finishing fourth here last time and representing a Tony Carroll stable going great guns at presents, he looks worth sticking with off such a favourable handicap mark. Gracious George ran with promise here latest and is another for the shortlist.

This longer trip holds no fears for this prolific polytrack winner and he is taken to get the better of Delagoa Bay, the latter coming into this in good form herself and also boasting a C&D success to her name. Mighty Mambo is fancied to fill the minor placings.

MULTITASK didn't do a great deal wrong when finishing a close-up fourth over this trip at Lingfield last time but he had looked very good when running out a convincing winner at this venue the night before and given a nice break since, he is fancied to return to that level of form here. Zman Awal was well backed prior to finishing second at Wolverhampton when last seen back in October and should mount a bold bid to recoup those losses with Midnight Rider another for the shortlist.

Watch out for: Zman Awal (6)

Multitask can boast a very good strike rate on this surface and will be a big danger if getting a good pace to aim at, but Zman Awal has been knocking on the door pretty loudly of late, and can gain a deserved success with this drop to 6f not expected to be a problem. Strategic Force warrants a market check on return to action.

Stellarta is sure to prove popular, turned out under a 6lb penalty incurred for last week's impressive C&D success. Top Offer comes into this in good form and is another to consider, similarly Clear Praise, but the one who makes most appeal is INVINCIBLE RIDGE. Eric Alston's charge has been going great guns of late and did really well to land the odds when finishing with a telling late burst over an inadequate 5f at Wolverhampton last time.

Watch out for: Stellarta (8)

Hedge End continues to run with credit but she is by no means thrown in off her current mark while Willie Wag Tail has a bit to prove having offered little on his return from a lengthy absence at Kempton last month. Stock Hill Fair isn't one to give up on just yet but a chance is taken on MUBTADI, on a feasible mark at present and a good third around here last time.

Quite a tightly-knit handicap, but 3-y-o Past Forgetting took a step forward when runner-up on just her second handicap start here last month, and there's the distinct possibility she can pull out a bit extra and go one better.
