BURNING HEAT has only found one too good in both of his starts over hurdles to date and he has been found an ideal opportunity to go one better this afternoon. The form of Tynecastle Park's third-placed finish on his hurdles debut earlier in the month has already been boosted with the fourth winning since. Ocean Eleven was a useful performer on the Flat and he would be a danger to all if taking to hurdles.
BURNING HEAT, having been beaten by an above-average sort on debut, did everything but win at Kempton earlier this month, so he's expected to get off the mark now having been found a good opportunity. AZARI has the talent (based on Flat form) to trouble the selection, but no encouragement could be gleaned from his first 2 hurdling starts, so Tynecastle Park could be a bigger threat.

LA BAGUE AU ROI has faced tough tasks in her last couple of starts at Cheltenham and Aintree but it was only three starts ago that she was beating the useful Dusky Legend in a Listed event at Newbury. The daughter of Doctor Dino has to give plenty of weight to both of her rivals today but she has more than enough in hand according to official ratings. Treackle Tart looks the main danger following her 11-length win at Exeter a couple of weeks ago, while Dont Tell Val will need to find some improvement to be successful on her hurdles debut.
LA BAGUE AU ROI hasn't been disgraced in Graded company the last twice and should be able to resume winning ways back down in class. Treackle Tart looks the obvious danger, though Don't Tell Val shouldn't be underestimated on hurdling debut.

MARRACUDJA only found Mick Thonic too strong for him at Cheltenham when bouncing back after a disappointing effort at Doncaster in January and is entitled to prove too strong for his main market rival Hammersly Lake. The latter has been mostly consistent over the winter in similar small-field contests but has a disappointing run at the Cheltenham Festival to overcome, while Next Exit is entitled to jump round in his own time to finish third.

HOW ABOUT IT had dropped sufficiently in the weights to finally get back to winning ways at Ffos Las last month and has since changed yards from Rebecca Curtis to Alexandra Dunn which could potentially eke out further improvement. Bulletproof arrives here off the back of a decent effort at Fakenham on Easter Monday when runner-up to Glimpse Of Gold and still remains on his last winning mark but may have it all to do to stop handicap debutant NOT NEVER. The selection was a decent performer on the Flat for Hugo Palmer and has shown glimmers of ability over timber to suggest his mark of 102 is workable in a contest of this nature. Intifadah returned to some sort of form when third at Fontwell and the booking of Richard Johnson looks notable.
NOT NEVER was a useful performer on the Flat for Hugo Palmer and is probably best judged on his initial hurdles promise for current connections. Given time having finished well held at Lingfield in February, he gets the narrow vote to make a winning handicap debut. Bulletproof and Intifadah are others to consider should the selection fail to fire.

TROUFION showed marked improvement when jumping boldly here on his latest start over a trip just shy of three miles at the start of this month and, despite an 8lb rise, looks open to further improvement. The drop in trip shouldn't be too much of a concern if ridden aggressively to make use of his jumping. Wish In A Well has been in consistent enough form over the past couple of months and looks to pose the main threat, while Blackwood Rover rates best of the remainder back up in distance.
TROUFION has been rated much higher in the past, showed a good attitude to go in at this track last time, and is having just a third outing for Caroline Bailey, so he's expected to follow up at the expense of some unconvincing rivals before stepping into a higher grade of handicap. Wish In A Well should give his running again and Thady Quil is too well handicapped to completely ignore.
