SHREWD INVESTMENT ran his best race of the season when second on his handicap debut at Plumpton last time and, racing off the same mark, is expected to improve upon that placing on ground that looks ideal. Rossbrin won here over shorter in February and remains handicapped to make an impact, although there is a slight suspicion he may be in need of 3m. Dakota Boy will appreciate the return to better ground and is also considered.
The return to quicker ground is sure to suit Dakota Boy and he could be worth siding with, though the in-form Rossbrin should ensure he doesn't have it all his own way.

LAUDATORY was making only his second start in this sphere when a promising third at Stratford earlier in the month and, having been a useful Flat handicapper for Walter Swinburn previously, is fancied to continue his improvement and open his account over timber. The Strawberry One has similarly shown promise over hurdles and shouldn't be too far away. Mr Harmoosh is having his first run under NH rules but was a fair handicapper on the Flat and is likely to know his job.
Both Free Tussy and Mr Harmoosh possess enough ability to get involved if taking to hurdling, but Laudatory saw things out much better last time and can get off the mark over hurdles. Dual bumper winner The Strawberry One could give him most to do.

MAURISCA has been in rude health since encountering good ground and arrives here in search of a hat-trick. Charlie Longsdon's gelding is 5lb higher than for his Haydock success last month but remains open to further improvement in this sphere and gets the vote. Fort View has been performing credibly in hunter chases (fifth behind Baby Run at Aintree last time out) and warrants respect. Pairc Na Gcapall isn't the most consistent but has dropped to an attractive mark and cannot be ruled out.
Fort View has shaped as though the step up to this trip would suit and didn't run at all badly in the Aintree Fox Hunters last time. He remains unexposed and can lower the colours of the hat-trick seeking Maurisca.

Lady Florence had a recent pipe-opener on the Flat and looks capable of better now returning to timber but ATARED gets the verdict after an encouraging second over the track and trip on her penultimate start. Pam Sly's mare is only 2lb higher now and is fancied to go very close. Shilpa won a maiden hurdle over C&D last year but has been held in handicaps subsequently and may have to settle for minor money today.
Six-time Flat scorer Lady Florence should strip fitter for a recent spin in that sphere and won't find many easier opportunities than this to open her hurdling account. Atared and Silver Lily are feasible each-way alternatives.

EXULTO is having his first start over fences but has shown ability over hurdles and would take all of the beating on these terms if able to transfer that ability into this sphere. Shadrack fell on his sole chase start and suffered the same fate over timber at Newcastle last time but would have reasonable claims if staying on his feet. Hi Tide is rated 14lb higher than Haka Dancer on official figures but the latter looked to be getting the hang of things at Southwell last time and is feared most.
With Shadrack falling twice in his last 3 outings, this may be best left to chasing debutant Exulto, who was the best of the quartet over hurdles.

Humbel Times opened his account at Sedgefield off 4lb lower last month but with conditions riding faster today, KINKEEL is preferred. The selection is thoroughly exposed but has been dropped 4lb for his last time out third at Towcester, when very much hinting the return to this trip would suit. Whatcanyasay has produced his best form to date at Sedgefield but looks very well treated on his present mark and cannot be ruled out, making the long journey down from Cumbria.
Humbel Times has never encountered ground as quick as this but has a good chance to back up his Sedgefield win. Kinkeel is probably the chief threat.
Half-brother to Mr Goodenough, won in a point to point race at 3m.

MISTER DILLON is a half-brother to several jumps winners and is likely to give a good account on debut in the colours of the Elite Racing Club. Dealing River shaped with promise on his debut in a Ffos Las bumper in February and is likely to appreciate this step up in trip, while Tealissio showed plenty of improvement between his first and second bumper runs and is another that warrants plenty of respect with that experience under his belt.
Tealissio sets a decent standard and should again give a good account, but Mister Dillon is bred to be above average and hails from a yard with few peers in this sphere.
