REVE DE NUIT was a useful performer on the Flat and has taken well to hurdles so far, following a couple of placed efforts with a wide-margin success over this C&D last time. Conditions look in his favour again and he is fancied to defy a penalty although Bab Al Salam was very smart on the level and market confidence behind John Ferguson's hurdling debutant would have to be taken seriously. Second twice recently, Dubai Glory completes the shortlist.

JUNO THE MUFFINMAN had too many guns for the reopposing Khazium at Plumpton a fortnight ago and although conceding 7lb to the latter this afternoon, he is fancied to come out on top again. A winner on the Flat, he wouldn't be the first horse to find improvement for the move to Tim Vaughan's stable and there should be plenty more to come. Expect another big run from Khazium, although the presence of Outback and hurdling debutant Venetian View should ensure this is plenty competitive enough.

ON ALERT doesn't have too many miles on the clock and looked a horse on the upgrade when opening his account over 3m at Uttoxeter last time, jumping well before staying on strongly in the closing stages.
