C&D winner Frightened Rabbit continued his fine run of form with a triumph at Carlisle and has to be respected despite an 8lb rise. Monfass was a silver medallist at Kelso on his reappearance and must also be taken seriously, along with Irish raider Duchess Ravenwaves, who is interesting in a first-time tongue-tie. However, a chance is taken on SLEEPY HAVEN dropping back in trip in style having found only one too strong off a 1lb higher mark over Carlisle's 2m4f.
The vote goes to MONFASS, who turned in his best effort for some time when second at Kelso on his return and is clearly on a handy mark. Sleepy Haven shouldn't be long in bringing his lengthy losing run to an end, so he merits respect, along with Frightened Rabbit, who looks better than ever at present.

BERING UPSUN made a winning return from 640 days off the track at Kelso last month, running out a comfortable six-length winner, and rates as the one to beat again as long as the bounce factor doesn't come into play. Mah Mate Bob was back in third on that occasion and could be the main opposition having got on the scoresheet at Sedgefield subsequently. This stamina-sapping test won't be for the faint-hearted and it will be no surprise if TOTAL ASSETS follows up last year's victory following some encouraging efforts so far this autumn. SUPREMELY LUCKY held his own in useful company over timber last season and made an encouraging chasing debut when second in a competitive event at Worcester. He would arguably have won on that occasion but for a blunder just as the race was beginning to take shape and can capitalise on this opportunity to open his fencing account. Just Your Type was last seen falling in the National Hunt Chase at the Cheltenham Festival and before that was a creditable sixth in the Eider.
