MOLLY WHUPPIE took a big step forward on her latest outing and kept on well to be denied by a small margin over C&D. She gets the vote to shed the maiden off 2lb higher, with Elusive Red providing stern opposition off the same mark as his third just eight days ago. Completing the shortlist is the sole course and distance winner in the field, Lord Caprio, who is dropped to an appealing mark of just 92.
A tricky opener with the vote in favour of PLACEDELA CONCORDE. He looked all set to run his best race for some time prior to falling at the last at Sedgefield in April (looked most likely winner) and he could be worth chancing to confirm the promise of that run following a short break. Legal Beagle remains low mileage and is feared, ahead of Al Kherb and Molly Whuppie.

GROZNI won a bumper at Market Rasen on his third outing under Rules having been sent over from Ireland by Denis Hogan and the five-year-old is of considerable interest now switched to hurdles. BARRANCO attracted plenty of support on his debut at Punchestown and showed some potential despite ultimately finishing a fair way behind the principals. He should find this opposition less demanding and looks capable of progressing in a race where very few have posted any notable pieces of form. Dear Alix sets the standard on his debut third over course and distance and looks a leading player, while Kian Calling wasn't unfancied on debut and may improve.
DEAR ALIX's third over C&D on debut is the best piece of form on offer and he's capable of better, so he's a straightforward selection ahead of San Roch, who also arrives on the back of an encouraging initial effort.
