Sugartoniteinmytea is the fastest over this trip and has raced against tougher. She should be thereabouts while C J Sirius was second in similar last time and wouldn't have to improve much to take this. However, preference is for INDELIBULL ROSE who won a slightly tougher race over C&D last time a shade cosily and should be up to winning this.
Glacken Bird is a speedy sort who was third in similar company last time. She should go close again but might find a couple too good for her here. Tricky Vixen and SNOW DEVIL were both placed in tougher races last time but the former's best efforts have been over shorter trips. The selection was a good third over 6f last time, could still be on the upgrade and should appreciate this step-up in trip.
Golden Reputashn is the quickest of these on dirt and over this trip but was well beaten in a similar contest last time. Poets And Angels won a $50k claimer over this trip in July but she's been well beaten in her last two starts, albeit in better races than this. At her best, she would take this but might find one too good today in NO SHAME. She was well beaten against tougher last time but won a similar contest to this before that and should prove too in this company.
Prospect Gold won over C&D last time out. This is tougher but he can't be ruled out. Butterscotch Dave is the fastest over this trip but despite running up a hat-trick in the summer, seems to have forgotten how to get his head in front. SPIN TIME hasn't won for more than a year but has been running well in much better company. He can be given another chance today.
CALL ME MEG, the fastest of these and on dirt, scored by a nose when dropped to this class last time. Gracile was the unlucky second with Starship Garnet more than four lengths back in third and Proud To Dance a similar distance back in fifth. With that confidence-boosting win under her belt, the winner should follow-up here.
Look no further for the winner here than GAMBLING GREEN. The filly has gone nine starts without getting her head in front but she has bags of pace, has been knocking on the door in similar company and has the ideal chance here to open her account. Boom Shakalaka, third in similar last time, and the speedy La Trolynx, eligible to improve on just her fourth start, looks the best of the rest.
Luna Sea is the fastest of these on dirt and over this trip but was a fair way behind Humorous Tune, when the latter was a close third in similar over C&D this month. Preference, however, is for OKIE SKY, who has run well in much tougher races and was a cosy winner over C&D in similar last time out.
Royal Master and Regent's Hope both won last time out and although this is a tougher contest, can't be ruled out. Tepexan won a $45k race last time, with WISE DIPLOMAT nearly two lengths back in second. But that was over a route and the selection has proved a better performer in sprints, clocking the fastest time over this trip. He has just been pipped in his last two races in similar company and can make it third-time lucky today.
Honour Colony is the fastest of these over this trip and wasn't far away when third in similar last time. This is tougher but, after only five races, there could be more improvement to come. Aledo Magic has made steady progress up the grades, winning a slightly easier race last time. She's another who has claims here but preference is for VOODOO FEVER. She has a poor strike rate but has been running in much tougher races. She looks to have too much class for this company.
