The downgraded Priceless Bull should go well and Oatman landed a similar event here on his latest outing, but the latter isn't one to rely on and preference is for MICHAEL'S DREAMIN'. Just held over C&D last time out and a repeat performance may suffice this evening.
An open event and Misty Daylight, Vicky's Bar, Bella Bliss and newcomer Van Nistelrooy Gal must all be given serious consideration. Preference, however, is for SIMPLY THE FOX who wasn't far away in a tougher 6f event last time and remains open to further progress.
Less than a length separated LUCKY LIZA and Breathtakingbreeze when second and third respectively (Faraway Kingdom fourth, Cosmo Babe fifth) and both should be in the firing line again. The former has more scope and is taken to go one better, possibly at the main expense of Expressive Eyes who wasn't disgraced in a higher grade on only her second outing.
WESTERN SWEEP was only denied a double by a head last time out and, back at this venue and down in class, she should be too hot for these. Heaven's Flame filled the runner-up spot in a similar C&D event latest and a similar fate beckons tonight, with Conner's Brittany rating best of the remainder.
This shouldn't take much winning and the vote goes to THE LORD'S FACTS, who recorded the joint-highest last speed figure when not disgraced in a higher grade and that was only his third outing. Conte Do It, Saratoga Breeze and Cavuto are more experience and should be thereabouts late on.
BUD'S BEAR was far from disgraced when fourth over this track and trip last time and, with much less on his plate tonight, he could prove far to strong for these rivals. Salty Sarge has yet to finish out of the frame in five starts (winning once) and seems sure to be on the premises once again, while Macademia Nut is another worthy of consideration.
In what looks a tricky puzzle for punters to solve, it could pay to side with AIR ACADEMY. He produced a gallant effort in defeat when runner-up over this track and trip last time and a repeat performance could well be good enough. Dangerous Summer faces a much easier task than his recent sixth here and could pose the main danger, while Mike's Magic is another with claims.
SAN GIACOMO didn't appear to get home when runner-up over 6 1/2f at this venue last time and could prove a tough nut to crack dropped in trip tonight. The Velvet Smog won in comfortable fashion here latest and is unlikely to go down without a fight, while Heza Gamer is another that cannot be ruled out with any confidence.
A fairly open to end to proceedings where TRIBAL POWER gets the vote. He caught the eye in a recent workout and will be fancied to score at the first time of asking. Just Take Me faces his easiest task of late and rates the biggest threat, while Pajarito is another with solid place credentials.
