Expert View Verdict

AWAYINTHEWOODS is away from the Highveld where she showed decent form at her level. She could enjoy this but has a slightly wide draw. PRIMARY can improve on her Trials after rest. Blinkers may make a big difference as well. SILENT CRUSADE is well bred and could be a lot better than her Trial effort. PALACE ROSE and HEY JUDE although drawn wide must be considered.

Watch out for: Palace Rose (2)

Even though CHANTYMAN is not as well in at the weights as a few others he will be at a peak in terms of fitness and has an advantageous draw. But RED CHESNUT ROAD has plenty class and it is significant that Anton Marcus has been booked to ride after rest. MY PAL AL showed good pace in a Trial and is certain to be up there. STATUTE has talent and could be suited here.

AFTER THE ORDER was a big improver at Scottsville but has to show from a wide draw round the Greyville turn. HARTLEYTWO promised in a Trial but has drawn wider still. HARMATTAN has the best of the draw.
