Verdict

Nice field assembled for the Grade 2. RODEO DRIVE keeps on impressing and should make them all run jumping from stall No 2. JUST RECKLESS wasn't far off RODEO DRIVE in the Grade 1 Allan Robertson Championship and followed that up with a cracking run in a Grade 2. She could be dangerous. SIMPLY MAJESTIC has beaten RODEO DRIVE and has improved to win more races. She needs to be taken seriously from gate No 17. LITTLE BALLERINA is a lot better than her last run. She could bounce back to best over this distance. DARK WINTER deserves respect as well.

Cracking field, don't forget it is the start of the Place Accumulator and it is always a bet to get involved in. CHOCOLATE SOLDIER won a handicap on the poly like a seasoned veteran last time. He is going places and could pass this Grade 2 test. CATS PAJAMAS lifted his game when third behind Cosmic Speed in the Grade 2 Durban Golden Horseshoe. He should have a big say in this. Verdict

LUCKY LAD has been luckless at Hollywoodbets Greyville, he has drawn wide again. But the star sprinter will get fast fractions and he could just mow them down again. AT MY COMMAND, who was a gallant second to LUCKY LAD in the Grade 1 Golden Horse Sprint, could have his turn as he has drawn well and would be deserving. Stablemate I AM GIANT is doing well in these high-class events and needs to be respected. Justin Snaith has ROYAL AUSSIE who is weighted to go well but SNOW PILOT is also talented and he could pop up at the right time. SURJAY could steal it at his best.

Great field for the World Pool Gold Cup, the Quartet Pool is expected to rise to R5 million, so get your bets on timeously. FUTURE PEARL can follow up on last year's impressive win as he ran a fantastic race in this year's Hollywoodbets Durban July. Verdict

The HKJC Champions Cup never fails to disappoint as it is a race full of Grade 1 quality. SEE IT AGAIN is weighted to win, he would be deserving after proving most unlucky in the Hollywoodbets Durban July. But he will need the race run to suit. FLAG MAN ran an amazing race in the 'July' and is a three-year-old with more to come. Should be right there. COUSIN CASEY came from the clouds to run second in the 'July' and from draw No 1 could finally get back into the winner's enclosure. DAVE THE KING was third behind SEE IT AGAIN who ran second last year and is the type who can get away.

Big solid field for the Grade 2 and payouts should be rewarding. BEATING WINGS looks tailor made for a race like this but is returning from a short break. HAPPY CHANCE just missed landing a Grade 1 in a close finish last time. She is in the form of her life and could see it out. RED PALACE is decent on her day and could be looking for the trip.
