JOYFUL MYSTERY had things go wrong in her second start when expected to go close. Her debut was fair and the booking of Anton Marcus on her polytrack debut is significant. Nothing else stands out on form which is another big plus. Verdict

SEVENTH MOMENT runs as if waiting for the longer distance which she tries here. The polytrack usually suits a horse that can run on well and SEVENTH MOMENT has a great draw to boot. GRAND JURY showed no interest on turf again last time and a much better run can be expected back on the poly. CHERRY ORCHARD was pipped last and has the best of the draw. MAYBE is improving.

WORK ETHIC improved with each start locally before going to the Highveld and running well at those tracks. She is overdue and should have every chance if taking to the polytrack. SPANISH CAPTAIN was due to run a week back and expected to win there but didn't take part due to a surface change. He now runs against some very useful sorts and has to show how good he is. MONTE CHRISTO is another promising youngster with wins to come. Both try the Greyville turn. HUNTING OWL has top div form in the bank so has proven his class. THESEUS can't be ignored.

Verdict

INNATE QUALITY showed something like his best form when trouncing his field. He meets some of those same horses but this time takes on STAR POINT who won a very good race first time out over this track and trip last time. Both are talented stayers then and if they have improvement to come should make for a fascinating contest. Youngster FOREST can improve on his track debut.
