MIDNIGHT MESSENGER should be a big runner if his local debut is anything to go by. He was a fast finishing second and had to switch in that race. MIGHTY MISSISSIPPI is knocking hard and the older local hope would be deserving. WHITEWATER RAPIDS hasn't bad form and now has a plum draw. He should get closer. The Dennis Bosch coupling could be ones to watch.

SHOW ME YOUR ROSIE won better than the margin suggested and could be on the up now that she is maturing. However she has drawn a bit wide. ROY'S SNOWDROPS didn't enjoy the drop in trip last time and a much better run is expected, especially from draw three. CAPTAINS MOLL was shocked by the 1000 metre trip last and may be most appreciative from a plum draw. More in it.

BORDER CONTROL brings West Cape form into the race and as a result he could be the one to be with. He has a much better draw and his stable's runners usually don't need the run. MASTER SAM slammed his field last time and could repeat from an even better draw here. AWESOME ANGEL ONE suddenly impressed and although out the maidens could be improving fast. More can upset.

As open as it gets. ELUSIVE WOLF produced an amazing finish to win and his stable may have found the recipe with him. But he has drawn wide. THE KING OF RANDOM is racing off an appropriate mark now and should go close in this. PATHWAY TO GLORY has potential and could suddenly show up. She has drawn on the paint. VALCAR and reserve WINTER BLUES can do it.
