Verdict

NOEMI produced her best again last time and it was an eye catching run. Her followers are hardened types though as it is not easy winning races from well off the pace. She must have a big chance here. MAGICALLEE is a speedy youngster that is still learning what it is all about. She has a plum draw and can make the right moves. STARLIGHT has been a bit unlucky in terms of her starting position. But this could be the right race for her. HOLLYWOOD THUNDER was speedy in the East Cape. She may enjoy it here.

ULTERIOR MOTIVE gets a good opportunity to open his account here. He hasn't been overly trustworthy but boasts decent form in this race and his stable has been in good form. LIGHTENING SPIRIT possibly found his last race a bit short and is set to improve. He met some decent sorts in that race and over this more suitable trip has a big say. MISS CARUSO has run two good poly races in a row and confirmed improvement showed in the Northern Cape. She was an impressive 5,40 lengths ahead of TO THE MAX who admittedly had a tough draw to overcome. The roles are reversed this time round with the latter getting a big advantage but she has jumped badly and could do it again. MARRY IN HASTE wasn't disgraced against winners last time and will be at a peak. She is the value proposition. MAZAVAROO and SILVER BEAUTY have the draws to be able to pick up stakes. INGAKARA and ZIVA NOIR can improve.

Verdict

MYTHOS has matured and produced quite an effort to win his last beating a subsequent easy winner. He has more of a task here especially as he drops in distance but he has the best of the draw. ORCHID STREET impressed over this trip having finally reached a merit rating that he enjoys. He has gone up 4 points but his confidence could carry him through again. EL BALLERO impressed in his penultimate and was not interested on the turf last time. He has a great draw again - watch out. More with wide draws with claims - GALWAY can come up strong this trip.

Verdict

Wide open event. Now that TRACK ATTACK has won he can go on to fulfill earlier promise. He has confidence on his side but will need to get going sooner in this. MIGHTY SMART ran a much better race last time and is better off at the weights with DIVINE HUGH. Could get close between the pair who seem to be on the up. SEA SPONGE caught the eye last time and the consistent sort would be deserving of a win now. PROUD WARRIOR and ARROW'S MARK are capable but the former has drawn well while the latter hasn't.

Verdict

Tough race. LOTSA SILVER's best runs entitles him to the utmost respect in this line up. He needed his last race but it is interesting that is a 6-year-old Silvano with only one win over a sprint trip. JERRY THE JUGGLER is the form choice but he has drawn wide again and he will need some luck. CANDLE COVE probably rates the best outsider in the race. He has shown potential in the past and has dropped plenty in merit ratings. Now has a plum draw. GREATTOBECAPTAIN and BRAVO ZULU both are capable of better.
