Verdict

As expected MR WINSOME stepped up on his form to show his true ability last time. He won well and has more to come. NIGHT SHADOW is a different horse this season winning over different distances and is a polytrack specialist so must be taken seriously. THIRTYTWO SQUADRON came to form last and should be in the fight along with PREMIUM WOOD and KITTY'S DESTINY.

ETERNAL ICE romped home in his second run after rest when trying blinkers. He could be on the up and may overcome his wide draw. CANADIAN MOUNTIE is steadily coming along and should prefer the polytrack over the faster turf tracks of the Highveld. He could complete a decent raid for his yard. ZAIDA was a good second after rest when jumping to a mile.
