Verdict

Of those that have run clearly ENCHANTED BAY has the best form but the finish could be fought out by some first timers. Trainer Mike de Kock sends out a Fort Wood filly AFREETA so the betting on her must be watched. Jockey Anton Marcus has taken the ride on ROY'S FOLLY. The Dynasty filly NZINGA also makes her debut for the Dennis Drier yard. MISS PIUS can improve on her form.

Verdict

Although SHOWMETHEWAY has the steadier of 63kg he is still weighted to win and could prove hard to oppose. This Muhtafal gelding ran on well to catch Pej last time over the 1000m at this track and is even better suited to this longer trip. KINGSTON BOY quickened nicely to win his latest which was over this track and trip and could be the biggest danger. ISOBAR should run well.

Verdict

An open looking contest on the turf. ASSEGAI is weighted to win this comfortably but does tend not to finish off his races so it is possible that GO WEST MCGRAW can run past him at the finish.
