ROBERT THE PUSS (4) is an improving galloper who just missed at Cranbourne heavily-bet. Fitter he sets a decent standard. ROCKING PRETTY (10) made sharp improvement at Warrnambool and didn't get it easy. He's ready to win and shapes a danger. SAMEDI (5) placed on resumption and was even better prior on debut and can be in the finish with Egan using the handy draw. KALIUWAA FALLS (2) may have had excuses at Bendigo, but the Ballarat effort prior would have him in the mix.

NO ENVY (2) ex UK and was okay resuming for the Freedman barn over the 1850m bet an 11-4 favourite. Placed on debut this trip at Ascot UK and his figure more than stacks up. The lift to the staying trip suits and this isn't hard. BADDAGINNIE (6) peaks and is an improver who got a lot closer at Yarra Glen from the front. Can set the tempo and fitter could prove the danger. COLERIDGE (1) hurdled the latest but has flat form that would see him in the mix. M'LADY LOIS (7) has had plenty of tries but was just nudged out at Hamilton three-back and may sit closer from a low gate.

Competitive. POPPY JOAN (4) has been close up at Sandown the last two in better grade. Put in a big effort the latest in a strong form race. Can win for the premier barn with a leading hoop taking over from the apprentice. TRUE IMPACT (1) was spelled off the Maiden win at the mile and then just missed on resumption and it was a good effort. He's an improved galloper who should go close with the extra fitness. NUMERO QUATRE (7) is third-up and building nicely. Drops back a level and will come hard. GENUINELY (6) disappointed following a solid run in the Group 3. Fitter now and better suited.
