After running second when returning from a short break last time Marc Of Approval is sure to be a popular selection and is likely to make his presence felt. Preference though is for EASY SPUR who holds Seeking Redemption on recent running and is at his best over this extended mile.
After a string of second placings VERMONT SUMMER can once again get her head in front. She does have to overcome an outside draw but has enough early pace to overcome that negative. After visiting the winners enclosure latest, Watralroseoftralee could again be involved.
Kings Sequence isn't the most obvious of contenders but wasn't beaten far when finishing well last time and could go well at a decent price. Sand Ballade was second latest in the same event as MUGEE unseated his jockey but the latter holds Daniel Conway's charge on earlier form. He can take this with normal luck-in-running.
Robert Ringhoff has had a couple of recent winners and can register another here with WOLF'S GEM who was second at this level last time and can take this with a similar effort. He was successful under today's jockey over C&D in early May and holds Li'l Larry B on recent running.
The best recent form on show here comes from MORE CHARM who has had several of these in behind her of late. She has filled the runner-up spot on her last two outings, but looks capable of going one better in today's company. Best of the rest could be Jamocas B Lady.
CASH ME OUT finished second in a similar contest over 6f latest. He drops down to the extended 5f here and should land this for his in-form jockey and trainer. Valid Threat looks a big danger on the evidence of his second here earlier this month, while Mygoldenexpression finished ahead of the selection on his penultimate start and can't be ruled out.
Paul Barrow is in fine form at present and he runs GOLD RIZZI here. He went off favourite last time and looks the one to beat here in the hands of Jose Osorio. Sapello Holdem is partnered by the in-form John Davila for the first time as he makes his debut for the Thomas Castellano barn and can't be ruled out, while Li'l Henry finished third in a similar event over 6f latest and the drop down in trip could bring out more improvement.
Chris Englehart and John Davila are in great form at present and they team up with BREEZE ON who was second on his first start for his new connections here earlier this month. He is likely to go off at short odds here and looks the one to beat. Mustang Ranch is partnered by Jeremias Flores and is respected after finishing runner-up in a similar event on his penultimate start, while Go To The Lead is looking for his third win since joining Oscar Barrera and is a threat.
BOZEMAN finished ahead of Northern Snow on his latest outing over C&D. He has been fairly consistent this season and can land his first success here. The latter needs to improve on that effort if he is to win but a similar run will see him go close, while The Lewster is a big threat if returning to the form he showed before his two year absence.
