NIKKI'S NUT made a promising start to her racing career when third over track and trip a couple of weeks ago and, with improvement expected, she looks the one to beat. Dancin On The Sand (fourth), Color Blind (fifth), K Bella (sixth) and Desert Crown (eight) were all in behind the selection that day and need to find a fair bit of improvement so Juan Rosado's Cute Cadet is most feared.
PAPA FRITA arrives here in cracking form and a repeat of his workmanlike success over track and trip last time will make him difficult to beat. Insightful is a lot better than showing at Presque Isle Downs latest and dropping in both trip and grade can help him bounce back to form, while Itch is certainly no forlorn hope if putting his best foot forward.
BAR CITY did the job nicely over 5f here last time and, with this longer trip not a concern, she could take some stopping in her bid to follow up. Idon'tlikeanyone was only one and a half lengths behind the selection that day (finishing second) and should be right up there again, while Six Plus Six warrants respect following a couple of solid placed efforts.
RUNAWAY DUNNE had the beating of a couple of these rivals here earlier in the month, including subsequent winner Too Critical, and although well held over 6f since, the drop back in distance will suit. Blazing Bella is another of interest.
QUIXOTIC LASSIE had Not Easy back in third when runner-up over 6f here last time and, having already won three times over this marginally shorter trip, there's nothing to suggest the form should be reversed. Charming Officer is quite consistent and completes the shortlist.
CRAZY THING has really come good for new connections now and is going to take all the beating in her hat-trick bid this evening. No Rhyme Or Reason is considered the principle threat, but Pretty Momma is also hard to ignore on the back of a tenacious track and trip success.
SHE SPELLS TROUBLE arrives here on a hat-trick after back-to-back successes over the extended 5f the last twice and is unlikely to be fazed by this extra yardage. Abby Morgan also arrives here on top of her game and is feared most in her quest for a treble. Cherokee Gem completes the shortlist.
Celtic Chant is expected to go close now lowering her sights but of more interest is LED ADVANTAGE, who looked in need of further when third over an extended 7f last time and is unexposed over this longer trip. Pitching Pennies is holding her form together well and appears best of the rest.
Spyglass disappointed on his last run over this trip and has a little to prove at present. Samurai Moon merits inclusion on the shortlist now, lowering his sights, but it may pay to side with PAYING ATTENTION, who had Sir Lancelord behind when second over C&D last month and is expected to confirm the placings.
