BARKEEPER was only just denied last time and has sound claims of going one better here after his fourth career start and his best show to date. Northern Snow and Bozeman may be suited by the shorter trip whilst September Circle deserves a change of luck with five seconds from 11 starts at Finger Lakes.
Sand Ballade showed consistent form last autumn and should improve for this second start back from a lay-off. LORD BUCKLEY goes well at this trip and drops in class for this first run since October and should go close. Dattt's My Luck rates a danger as does the race-fit Danny C who's been sent off favourite the last twice.
Miss Morning Line looks primed to go close but with only one win from 17 starts doesn't represent a solid proposition. A chance is taken that SARAH BARAH will improve for this first try at a route. She's struggled in better races of late but the new trip and drop in class may bring about a change of fortune. Win Early has often run into the places and is a threat.
Jazzalaya has shown enough speed to be considered from an inside post. TEDDY HULL was up there all the way when second earlier this month and has the best dirt speed figures here and may be able to get off the mark. Darbay's Valentine also comes into this on the back of a decent effort but has been beaten favourite the last twice and may have to settle for a minor role once more.
YOU'RE SWINGIN ME can make good use of his early pace from an inside post to continue his decent run of form at Finger Lakes. Grand Kids from the rail post is a threat but hasn't been out since November. Phantom G and Richie's Future (second and third earlier in April) may prove to be bigger dangers.
Pitchingforpennies represents an in-form trainer but will need to improve to turn the form around with MONSTROUS and Cleric's Loot. MONSTROUS showed up well to finish four lengths in front of the third that day and should be able to confirm that form. The Blame Game was back in fifth then but represents a barn with a decent strike rate and may be capable of better.
There's little to choose between Prolific Appeal and Voir Dire on figures but with the former having his first attempt at a route and the latter having his first start in two years it can pay to look elsewhere. Mygoldenexpression is lightly raced and has scope to improve but a chance is taken with CRYALETHA who has shown form at a route.
THUNDER ANEES made a winning debut for Chris Englehart in February and can make it two from two with the barn in hot form. Philly Frenzy should be sharper for her recent run over a sprint trip when finishing well for third. Honor Mountain hasn't been out of the money at this track yet and with blinkers fitted for the first time should manage to place again at least.
Viv's Page has switched barns since winning her last race when coming clear to land the spoils over seven furlongs. ROARING RYLEE has shown good early pace and may be able to build on his return run in April to add to his sole success with Paul Barrow's string in form. Darby Brook wasn't beaten far in a similar event in December and is another with a chance.
