SWAY OF PASSION didn't appear to get home when finishing second over 6f here last month and gets the confident nod to regain the winning thread dropped in trip this evening. Yastrzemski produced a gallant effort in defeat when third at this venue latest and could pose the main danger, while Tale Of Wonder is another that cannot be ruled out.
SONG SENOR failed to land a blow when finishing seventh over this track and trip ten days ago, but he has much less on his plate tonight and could prove far too strong for these rivals. Max Cam won in workmanlike fashion here last time out and is unlikely to go down without a fight, while Bad Boy Rising is another worthy of consideration.
KRIS'S DANCER performed with a great deal of credit when finishing fourth here 19 days ago and, with that first run since August under his belt, he could prove the one to be on in what looks an open affair. Richie The Kid and Gebb's Flag finished second and third respectively here latest and look set to battle it out for minor placings again.
TRICKY TUCK was mightily impressive when landing the spoils over 6f here last month and, with this drop in trip not a concern, he could take some stopping on his bid to follow up. Lethal Missile is taking a significant drop in grade and is entitled to get involved where it matters most, while Your Choice is another with claims.
WINLOC'S HAIL MARY looked to have plenty left in the tank when landing the spoils over 1m at Presque Isle Downs last month and could prove a tough nut to crack on his bid to follow up over his longer trip. Winloc's Irene won gamely at this venue latest and rates the biggest threat, while We Love Our Kids is another for the short-list.
KAZ GOLD made a pleasing debut when finishing fourth over 6f here last month and, with further improvement expected, he could prove extremely hard to beat dropped in trip this evening. Canaveral Cat is entitled to have learnt a great deal from his debut fourth and looks sure to be involved at the finish here, along with Just Driving.
MARREE MAGEE produced a gallant effort in defeat when finishing second over this track and trip 12 days ago and looks sure to take all the beating on his bid to go one better tonight. Leah C and Stealthespotlight finished fourth and fifth respectively that day and look set to scrap it out for minor honours once again.
TOUGH SHIPMATE has been in cracking form of late and, after scoring readily on his two latest outings at this venue, he gets the confident nod to complete the hat trick tonight. Specchio is also chasing the three-timer and is entitled to play a leading role here, while Long Lost Pal looks best of the remaining trio.
Hat-trick-seeking FIFTY SENSE is in the form of his life at present and, after gamely landing the double over this track and trip 17 days ago, he's extremely hard to oppose in this event. Special Jet is taking a slight drop in grade and could have his say in the outcome, while Pleasant Trick is another interesting contender.
