VISION DES FLOS reached a high level in novice hurdles, placing twice at Grade 1 level at both Aintree and Punchestown, and he has the potential to make a big impact in the novice chase division. The son of Balko also showed up well over this distance at the Cheltenham Festival when beaten less than 10 lengths by Samcro in the Ballymore. No Comment shaped with plenty of encouragement despite being beaten a combined total of 88 lengths in two outings over fences last term at Sandown and Cheltenham, while Jester Jet could prove dangerous with the mares allowance having won a good handicap hurdle at Aintree's Grand National meeting.

His form tailed off at both Cheltenham and Aintree in the spring which means he comes into this 1lb lower than last year and he is reunited with jockey Zac Baker, who takes 5lb off his back. Silver Streak won the Swinton at Haydock on his latest outing and is another to take seriously. Evan Williams' grey still appears to have more to offer and could serve it up to the selection, while others to consider include Mohaayed, this year's County Hurdle winner at Cheltenham, and Ozzie The Oscar, who reverts to hurdles after a decent spell over fences.
