LORD MARMITE has tended not to finish his race off but from pole position over this course and distance he could well keep going this time. A tough race to find the winner and we will need to load up as many as possible to survive the exotics in this leg. PRINCESS ZENA took a long time to shed her maiden tag but will be full of confidence. SWEET KARMA is better than her run last week on the Polytrack and could score. DANILO has some fair recent form but is badly drawn. He must be respected, though. ATKINSON GRIMSHAW is in good form and his winning turn could come as soon as this race. LA BASTIDE was a bit of a disappointment last time but is capable of better and her form before that was good. Verdict

A cracking race by Eastern Cape standards with some really in-form runners. JAEGER MOON's good form stopped to a walk last time out. He may not have liked the soft underfoot conditions on the day but he is likely to get those conditions again and this distance does appear short of ideal. Verdict

A big-field handicap race and we will have to go wide in the exotics once again. RADIANT LOVE was a bit of a disappointment last time out but must be considered. TEOFILIA is course-and-distance suited and has a winning chance. TSAR PETER was full of running when winning last time out and that was his local debut. He is clearly improving. GLOBAL DESIGN shows promise and although he is possibly even better over further he could be good enough to win a race like this. VIC FALLS may be better than his last run and could cause an upset.
