Verdict

A small field but a competitive opening event. TAKE YOUR TIME has not won for some time but is usually not far behind at the finish. This course and distance suits her. LIZWILE ILALI makes her local debut for an in-form trainer. ONO NO KOMACHI is improving and should fight out the finish once again. HAT MONTERA has improved of late and should be right there at the finish. DARLING HARBOUR is one-paced at the finish but is better than her last run would suggest and is not out of it.

Verdict

DESERT CLOUD looked very unlucky not to win on local debut. She can go one better this time. GOLDEN ALEXIA was not beaten far in most of her runs in Gauteng and should be a real danger to these rivals. NIGHT IN JAPAN has improved on this surface and could be involved with the finish yet again. AMANATTO has not shown much at this centre and need to do more to win a race. BUDDLEJA is better than her last run would suggest and can earn some money. SALAGADOOLA showed some improvement last time out and has a place chance.

Verdict

PRISCILLA MAISEY was full of running when scoring in her first crack on this surface and could have more wins in her tank. BOSNAY seems a bit better than her last two runs and has a place chance. TREASURE HUNT has been good of late and can contest the finish again. ARABIAN RED could get involved with the finish if showing her best side. Verdict

Another interesting race with some in-form runners. FAIRY KNIGHT is the class act and has won many times on the Polytrack so gets the narrow choice. Stable companion MERCANTOUR has improved on this surface of late and will not go down without a fight. Another Alan Greeff-trained runner, DUBAI HILLS, is very brave but this is his toughest take to date. PAS DE NOM is clearly a lot better than his last run. CHAMPONELLE ran well above her rating when scoring last time out. GOLDEN PAVILION is in the form of his life and is not out of it.
