Verdict

MAIGURU makes her local debut. She is clearly better than her last run would suggest and looks the one to beat trying the Polytrack. Stable companion KIND OF BLUE did not show much on debut. She did a lot better last time out and looks lively danger. DREAM SCAPE is knocking at the door and has a winning chance trying the Polytrack. TUFAAN has battled to finish off her races but is consistent and is not out of it. MAKAHA BEACH has more to do to in the race but could earn some more money.

Verdict

MARMELLATA has scope for improvement. She fell away at the finish on debut but was well supported to win that race. She should be smarter this time. GRAPHENE AEROGEL only found one better on her local debut and should be right there at the finish once again. Stable companion I'M IN LOVE turned in a disappointing performance on local debut. She is trying the Polytrack and has a winning chance.

Verdict

A tough race to be confidant in. OWLETTE was a bit of a disappointment last time but does seem to prefer the Polytrack so can bounce back to score. BASETSANA has not been showing her best form of late but does take a drop in class so must be considered. TO THE MAX returns to the Polytrack and could be the surprise package. CRAFTY HEART has been consistent of late and should be involved with the finish once again.

Verdict

USHUAIA won well last time out. The runner-up has since won easily. Blinkers certainly made a difference to USHUAIA but his only other run on the Polytrack was only fair. CANE LIME 'N SODA has been disappointing in his recent runs but has been effective over this course and distance. Stable companion JASPERO has been in very good form but has been stretched over this distance. HOMER FIDGET is in good form and could take to the longer distance. ROYAL SHINDIG is unreliable but does have a winning chance.

SOUTH WESTER was a disappointment when trying blinkers last time out. She did better before that but she could be smarter this time around. CHLORIS is in good form and one of these days she will keep going to win. PANZANELLA makes a local debut and must be considered. FOR ALL WE KNOW is in good form but is making her Polytrack debut. MISS MILLSTREAM has tended to lack a strong finish but could earn some more money. IQEMBULABESIFAZANE showed improvement last time and must be considered. OPERA SWING is capable of a strong finish when in the mood.

Verdict

CAN COL was thrown in the deep end last time. He was outpaced late by some decent horses and was not beaten that far. He has done better on this surface and could be better than his merit rating. MY BOY REECEY is coming off a good win and can follow up. EUPHORIC is capable of doing better than he has been showing recently and could pop up in the places. Verdict

We should see a competitive finish. SAFARI BLUE was a wide-margin winner the only time he raced on this surface. That was in a much weaker race than this, but he clearly has a winning chance. There has not been too much between stable companion GREENLIGHTTOHEAVEN and NAVAL SECRET in their recent runs and both look course-and-distance suited. Runners from visiting trainer Glen Kotzen should always be respected and both CAT DADDY and MY BESTIE would not be surprise winners.
