Verdict

A weak race and with RED BISHOP out due to winning on Monday any type of result is quite possible. JACKBEQUICK returns from a break. Blinkers are added and he could make a local winning debut for trainer Gavin Smith. The betting will probably be the best guide to his chances. EMERALD FLAME has been battling to win for some time but has shown improvement of late. SOWETO HALL and WONDER WOMAN both battle to finish off their race but must be considered. SIEVER'S POINT has lost her way of late but does have a winning chance.

Verdict

Trainer Gavin Smith holds a strong hand but as is usually the case, which one? LORD MARMITE has been a disappointment of late but could bounce back to score. GRACE FROM ABOVE put in a better effort last time and could be ready to strike. STAR EFFECT is long overdue a win and ran on nicely last time. Trainer Jacques Strydom will be trying to spoil the Smith feast by upstaging them with CYCLOPS JACK who ran nicely last time.

Verdict

Once again trainer Gavin Smith has a decent hand. VISION ON ICE should like this longer distance and should be right there at the finish. INBETWEEN DREAMS is course-and-distance suited and deserves the utmost respect. RAROTONGA was just ahead of VISION ON ICE last time out and looks to be improving so must be considered. QUEEN LOUISE needs to do more to win a race but is quite capable of earning some money. LAURETTA MIA is improving and could well go one better this time over the longer distance.

Verdict

PARIS OPERA has only one win in her 15 starts but did look an unlucky loser of her latest and may well go one better. LIFE ON MARS has won over the course and distance and could try and make all the running from his draw. UNDISCLOSED flew up late on Monday and if repeating that performance must be respected.
