THE ROARING ROCK has found one better on the day in both his local starts. He should beat those who have racing experience, but there is an interesting newcomer. Trainer Gavin Smith tends to test his best newcomers over this particular course and distance, so watch the betting on Gimmethegreenlight gelding ALL SYSTEMS GO. Verdict

OLIVE OYL was threatening to win a race but dislodged her rider last time out. Jockey Richard Fourie gets his first try on her and that could make all the difference. MORFELIHA showed improvement in her second start and brings Western Cape form to the table so would not be a surprise winner. SECONDS OUT is capable of improvement and has a place chance. A very competitive opening leg of the Pick 6. WINTER EMERALDS did not show his best last time out but was improving before that and would not be a surprise winner. FRENCH FLAME makes his local debut and could score. GOT THE FEVER and GRAND ALLEGRO have both been in good form of late and should challenge for top honours. Verdict

BEER WITH THE BOYS has his first start for trainer Gavin Smith. He was not striding out when trying the Polytrack last time out but was threatening to win a race before that and is capable of winning a race of this nature. HENRY'S HEDGE is improving and will not go down easily this time around. Stable companions GEORGE HANDEL and ALADO'S PRIDE have not won for some time now but are capable of earning some money. Verdict

MY BEST SHOT tried his luck in the Hollywoodbets Durban July and was not disgraced. He was unbeaten in five starts this year before that after having been gelded. He can bounce back to score. ROYAL AUSSIE has run in better fields than this this year but may be better without blinkers. BINGWA did too much too soon last time out and could be a threat on best form. ZINOVI was full of running in his latest win and could be better than his rating.
