ISN'T IT BLISS was involved in a speed battle last time out so it was not much of a surprise that she tired late. Dropped to 1000m she will do a lot better this time. JUST SO EASY showed vast improvement last time out and could be the one to beat if repeating that effort. GREAT THUNDER tends to lack a strong finish but could play a minor role. HOLA CHIQUITA might place. Watch the betting on the Alan Greeff-trained ALLURING.

Verdict

An open looking contest and a number of runners need to be considered for the exotics. THRONG did a lot better in his second local run and could do even better this time. Verdict

MARMARA SEA is now unbeaten in 7 starts, all since joining Alan Greeff, and they were all on the Polytrack. It will not be a surprise were he to win again as he does seem arguably at his very best over this 1600m. EARTH HOUR was just touched off by MARMARA SEA last time out over 1400m and is 1.5kg better off so must be the obvious danger. DAWNBREAKER and PURPLE DIAMOND need to do more to win but can earn some money.
