Verdict

An interesting start to the day. FIRE GLOW was scratched from her intended start recently. She showed promise on debut and with improvement expected could be the one to beat. AMAZING COLOURS was well beaten on debut but could be smarter this time. Trainer Alan Greeff has had a disappointing juvenile campaign so far but BACK FOR MORE represents him and she could be smart enough to win on debut. Juveniles trained by Cliffie Miller sometimes need a run or two to get to their best but watch the betting on EXCLUSIVELY YOURS and STAGE PLAY. Keep an eye on the betting on FIRST MINISTER and ROSA ROSSA as well.

A maiden handicap and any type of result is likely. YAYA MARIA has been consistent and deserves a win but it does look a very competitive race. KILMONIVAIG has improved of late and could go closer this time. LOVIN YOU BABY has been hit or miss so far but is also not out of it. TIDE IS HIGH has been a bitter disappointment in her last two starts. COFFEE IN SEATTLE could improve making her local debut. MAGENTA is in good form and should run another decent race. Verdict

A big field handicap and we will need to go as wide as possible in the exotics. BURNING MOON was full of running to win her latest start and it will not be a surprise were she to follow up. LADY MISTICO makes her local debut and could improve. ANGEL DEB'S is a bit unreliable but is not out of it on her best form. BUTTERCUP is holding form and has a place chance. RAINBOW THIEF showed promise early in her career but has lost her way lately. FOR ALL WE KNOW is holding form and should contest the finish. Verdict

CRUISE CONTROL has been very good when in the mood and does appear at his very best over this course and distance. CLIFF TOP has a 2-2 record with rival CRUISE CONTROL. CLIFF TOP is clearly back to his best with some very nice wins recently and should fight out the finish once again. STRANGER DANGER is speedy and is at his very best over this track and trip. He could need this run returning after a break. WHAT A WINNER is in very good form but this does look a tough task. VEGAS GOLD is up in class after a fair recent win.

Verdict

An interesting race. DOUBLE DESTINY showed what she is capable of with a solid last win. Now that she has regained her winning form she looks likely to follow up. EKORIA was a class juvenile. She has not been as good this season but could be ready to show her best side. The same could be said of CHERE FOR ME. Trainer Justin Snaith raids with STRAWBERRY LIGHT and she must not be dismissed away lightly. RIMAAH was impressive on local debut but now tackles tougher. HAZY CRAZY NIGHT should be doing her best work at the finish.

Verdict

PERFECTION was caught out of his ground last time out. He did well to get as close as he did to stable companion Khaya's Hope. That winner was impressive again last week and PERFECTION, who is improving, can go one better this time. The last run of MLABENI can clearly be dismissed and he was very consistent before that. WAITING FOR SUMMER returned to his best with a good last win and has to be given respect once again. ATKINSON GRIMSHAW is clearly better than his last run and has a place chance. SECRET IS OURS won well last time out but this is a stronger race.
