Verdict

ICED MARMALADE showed improvement and was only run out of it late last week. She can go one better. RIVER FERN did not show her best on the grass last time out and will be a danger this course and distance. WARRIOR'S SWORD does seem better than his last run would suggest and could be a threat with Andrew Fortune in the saddle. GOOD SHINE may be at best around this distance and has a place chance. KINGSBOY has been a disappointment so far but could improve after a change of trainer. TIMELINE is holding form and would not be a surprise winner. FRENCH ROMANCE should improve off a fair debut and is another to consider.

An interesting race. TOTAL ERUPTION showed improvement on local debut and can go one better this time around. OCEAN FLAME and PRICELESS TREASURE are not easy to win with but are threatening a first victory. RED LHASA is improving and can get involved with the finish once again. Verdict

ENCHANTING CHOICE is carded to run on Friday 30 January. She might win that race and she does look hard to oppose if appearing in this race instead. She clearly needed her last run. She has a very good record on this surface as well. GINGER DELIGHT is in the form of her life and has some good recent wins. She should fight it once again. VIHAAN'S QUEEN is clearly not reliable but is also not out of it. FLIGHT DISPLAY likes the Polytrack and can contest the finish yet again. FIRST WISH, WALKONTHEWILDSIDE and GREEN ISLE are all talented on their day and can earn some money.

Verdict

A weak maiden plate. MOUNT TREMBLANT is holding his form well and gets a golden opportunity to get a first victory. Verdict

A competitive handicap. POMEROL is clearly improving and has won two of her last three starts. She carries a penalty for her latest win but can follow up. BACK FOR MORE is clearly better than her last run would suggest and would not be a surprise winner. HAZE AND SMOKE and GORGEOUS CAPE are both in good shape and capable of winning. DESERT CLOUD is not an easy filly to win with but can earn some more money. BRETTY and BLIND FAITH might be worth including in large Pick 6 permutations.

Verdict

A very open looking race and it might be worth it to include many runners in this leg of the Pick 6. DOWNING SEVEN is not reliable but he has run better races than this and can threaten these rivals. ON AN IMPULSE was a very easy maiden winner in his penultimate start. He did not repeat that last time out. CURTISS CONDOR clearly needed his local debut and is sure to do a lot better this time. PORFIRIO has won two of his last three starts but is clearly unreliable. HOSPICES DE BEAUNE is better than his last run and has a place chance. SILENT TRIGGER is threatening to win and should be right there at the finish.

Verdict

Trainer Alan Greeff has had a disappointing start to the year but HOT SAUCE should go close to winning. She seemed to need her last run and can bounce back to beat these rivals. Greeff does have cover for her in the form of HAPPY WIVES who is in the form of her life. KINGS AGAIN, SMASHING and CHERRY OH BABY also represent him and are capable of earning some money. HOPE CHEST looked unlucky not to win last time so must be respected with Andrew Fortune in the irons. MAKE BELIEVE and WHITE WATERS have also done enough of late to be concerned with the finish.
