Verdict

QUICK COUNT was a disappointment over this course and distance last time out. Her previous two runs, also over this track and trip, were good and if she reproduces either of those efforts she should go close to winning. TASTE MAKER would probably prefer a shorter distance but with Muzi Yeni in the saddle she must be considered. ROMANOFF has some fair form but does seem more likely to place than win. SOCIAL SPIRIT and FLY BY make their local debuts so keep an eye on the betting. MISS UNITED STATES made a fair local debut and can go close to winning.

Verdict

OUR WORLD has been a disappointment on this surface but returns from a short break and could make vast improvement. MAKE IT HAPPEN returned to form with a solid effort last time and could go one better in a weak race. GRACE LIGHTNING is consistent and should be right there at the finish. JUNGLE PROMISE does seem a bit better than her last run would suggest and could go close to winning. TEMPLE BAR returns from a break and has a winning chance if fit and ready.

Verdict

There was not much between a number of these rivals last time out. The drop in distance could make a difference but it does seem likely YOUNG NELSON and ARCTIC ADVANCED can fight out the finish. YOUNG NELSON has been consistent of late and could go one better. ARCTIC ADVANCE likes the step-up in distance and can go close. FERRARI ICE showed promise on local debut and with further improvement expected he could go one better. FIRSTAMONGEQUALS tries a longer distance and could earn some minor money. CHARLIE MCCREEVY was not far behind rival FERRARI ICE last time out and has a chance of turning the tables. The two fillies who take on the males, SILVIA LOUISE and LEGEND HAS IT, are both distance suited and in good heart so must be considered.

Verdict

A competitive-looking race. FORWARD MARCH is coming off a good win and has no problems with this extra distance so must be considered. VISION ON ICE was doing her best work late last time and should fight out the finish once again. Stable companion ABIA was full of running last time out over the course and distance and it would not be much of a surprise were she to follow up. ALASKAN FATE is unreliable but is also not out of it. GRANADILLA and MEENEERA are in good form and deserve respect. Recent maiden winner PINK LEGACY also has a winning chance.

Verdict

THE HIGHWAY MAN returns from a short break. He takes a drop in class and his start-to-finish running style could work in this field. GREENLIGHTTOHEAVEN quickened and pounced nicely to score that day and may have more wins at this centre, especially on the Polytrack. CHILE JAM probably prefers the turf but does also deserve respect. VALETORIO likes this surface and could earn some money. AL QAASIM was only caught late but quite how well those tactics will work with similar front-runner THE HIGHWAY MAN in the race are questionable.
