Verdict

A weak but competitive race. EAST COAST GIRL makes her local debut but could win a race like this. LANA VIEW has improved of late and does like this surface. NIGHT IN JAPAN likes the Polytrack but needs to do more to beat these rivals. WELSH STARLET is capable of earning. GOLDEN CROC showed good improvement last time out and could go one better. ROYAL MISSY is improving and is clearly not out of it in this line-up. ZARA DIVA can improve at this centre. SECONDS OUT could be the surprise package of the race.

HONORABLE MEMBER has been runner-up in all three of her starts on the Polytrack and is weighted to win this race very easily. ONE SCOTCH is in good form and could contest the finish. ALWAYS SHINING is not reliable but is course and distance suited. EL CAPITAN was an easy maiden winner on local debut and could prove a lot better than rated. Verdict

ONE RELIGION does give a lot of weight to some of her rivals in this handicap. She has, however, shown good improvement since joining the Alan Greeff yard and can score. A BIT CHILLY reminded us what he is capable of with a win over a similar distance at this track. HAT MONTERA continues to improve and will not go down easily. PYRO EDITION is hat-trick seeking after some promising wins and must be respected. RICHARDTHEFEARLESS and FUTURE SAINT are both making their local debut and could improve.

Verdict

HOT SAUCE returns from a break but has shown promise in her first two starts. She does have a tricky draw and meets some decent sorts but is the one to beat. SYMBOL OF LOVE is speedy and very game so should contest the finish. LE PREMIERE showed improvement to win her latest but does tackle stronger this time. PRISCILLA MAISEY seemed to find the distance a bit much for her last time out and should be a threat to these rivals. Stable companions for trainer Gavin Smith PROJECT RUNWAY and DANISH DYNAMITE are both capable of getting involved in the finish. SMASHING has a place chance over this course and distance.
