STATE LINE has run well in much better races in the past and he can defy a break since April last year. War Force is another who has been off the track a while but would have to enter calculations on the pick of his form, while Fearless Majesty is also noted.
After finding stakes company too hot last time out CARMEN'S ROSE should relish this significant drop in grade. Night Parade ran well enough on debut to suggest she can pick up a race or two, while Rush To Judgment is an interesting newcomer.
VALID PURSUIT bounced back to form with a narrow second over 6f here last month, compensation surely awaits here. First Cast is only marginally passed over on his first start in claiming company in a while and Whoz Talkin Now is also shortlisted.
It is difficult to oppose the consistent CHORUS, who brings the most solid and strongest form to the table. The biggest threat is likely to be To Tourne Gosh, along with Anytime Baby
BRIDDLE could go well at a decent price, he was forced wide through when a narrow third over 1m here over Christmas and the drop in trip will not be a problem. Forest Elf is interesting as he drops in grade today, while Trinni Heart arrives here in good form.
If you can forgive one poor run then HE'S A DANDY CANDY would hold leading claims, having finshed a close third over C&D two starts ago. Adens Dream will also be a popular choice, along with Sconnie Alumni.
The only doubt about JOCKAMO'S SONG is the trip but if he sees out the distance then this last time out stakes winner will be very hard to beat. Charlie's Affair won a similar event here last month and looks sure to be on the premises, as does Grit.
COLOUR PARTY would be dangerous to dismiss as she drops back out of stakes company, plus her yard is in great form at present. Shea's Lil Shug and King's Ghost look to be the pick of the remainder.
WILSPERFECTSUCCESS put in a much improved effort over C&D back in November and a reproduction of that performance may well be good enough today. Whiskey Biz has not been seen in a while but would have a chance if ready to go, while Gavar would not have to be a superstar to take this on debut.
