Highland Hunter bounced back from a fall on his chasing debut at Chepstow when winning at Carlisle last Monday and the eight-year-old warrants the utmost respect as he's turned out under a 7lb penalty. The vote, though, goes to C&D winner L'AIR DU VENT as he clearly wasn't at his best when pulled up at Cheltenham in December and the switch to handicap company may yield further improvement. Welsh Saint is capable of improving from what was effectively his first full outing of the season, when third at Ffos Las, after unseating his rider here at the second fence on his return last month.
