This can go the way of RYDON PYNES, who ran a cracker when run down in the dying strides on his seasonal reappearance over hurdles. He appeals as the type to excel over the larger obstacles and can make a winning introduction in the hands of Nico de Boinville. It will be interesting to see what the market makes of Mountain Tunes on his comeback, but the main threat will likely come from recent Chepstow third Cloudy Copper. Krackatoa King is also worth considering on his chasing bow.

A competitive little race and the point winner OTAGO TRAIL only just shades the vote as he handled slower underfoot conditions in his novice hurdling campaign and could have a lot more to offer now he tackles regulation fences. On Tour is only reluctantly passed over as he progressed well last autumn and remains open to further improvement. Heath Hunter makes fair appeal at the forecast prices as he got his head in front at Ffos Las in January and looks to have conditions in his favour here.
