CHARLIE BEAR is sided with, though, on the back of his second-placed effort over C&D in November. The son of Myboycharlie wasn't without his supporters that day and he beat subsequent winners Sgt Rock (third) and Shannon Soul (fourth) in finishing runner-up to Indian Tomahawk. STOICHKHOV ran much more encouragingly over a mile here last time on the back of some below-par performances. The drop back to this trip should be in his favour and he remains on a winnable mark. Captains Dilemma wasn't beaten far by a future multiple winner on his last outing and he is sure to have a say in proceedings if ready to roll on the back of a break. Shabra Emperor and Tsar Paul have plenty of solid course form and merit consideration too.

Doc Holliday was running consistently well towards the back end of 2014 and he can give another good account, while Rose Angel and Political Policy both merit shortlist inclusion following promising efforts last week.

The consistent SHARJAH has recorded two wins from his last three starts and can defy a 4lb rise in the weights for his determined triumph over the extended 1m2f trip here last time. The Shamardal gelding has finished behind the bang in-form Moonmeister on his last two attempts over 1m4f and finished half a length back in second to Gordon Elliott's charge at the beginning of last month. Of the others, Broadway Musical is improving for each visit to the track and could get involved, while Eye Of The Tiger rates best of the rest.
