VINNIE IS BUSY won a Limerick bumper in great style on debut and, having finished third to Barnaviddaun in this race two years ago, was absent until making a promising return at Fairyhouse last month. The Charles Byrnes-trained gelding can be quite keen, but he was still only beaten about three lengths behind Peaceful Sunday and hopefully will progress from that run. Peaceful Sunday's trainer Stuart Crawford is now represented by The Flier Begley, who showed useful form in bumpers behind the likes of Ginto and Sandor Clegane. The seven-year-old should now be suited by going right-handed judged on his hurdling debut at Navan where he still finished a creditable fourth to Jaycean. He needs to bounce back from a disappointing run on very testing ground at Ayr. Monkstreet and Winding River may prove best of the remainder.
VINNIE IS BUSY made a promising start to his career in 2020, winning a bumper on debut before finishing in the frame in only 2 further starts that year. He was then off for 2 years prior to an encouraging fourth at Fairyhouse last month and the 7-y-o can build on that effort to get off the mark. The main dangers could be Monkstreet and The Flier Begley, who are open to progress back down in trip.

PRIORY PARK looked a progressive sort when following up a Thurles victory with another over 2m4f at the Leopardstown Christmas meeting. The step up to three miles proved too far last time at the Dublin Racing Festival and this looks a good opportunity to resume winning ways. Authorized Art returned from a lengthy absence last autumn and showed promise when third to I A Connect at Punchestown. He's also stepped up to three miles since and should be better suited by this trip. January Jets won a maiden hurdle at Galway but has been exclusively campaigned over fences for the past 17 months and was far from disgraced last time behind Dunvegan in a valuable Fairyhouse handicap. Prevaricate had proved a frustrating sort to follow before taking advantage of a great opportunity in a Leopardstown maiden last time.
CLONDOW HOLLOW has won his last 2 starts over hurdles, including in good style over C&D on the first occasion. He remains lightly raced in this sphere and can land another success. Priory Park is also unexposed and was bidding for a hat-trick when disappointing last time. THUNDEROSA just gets in at the bottom of the handicap and will be suited by this stamina test. The Dermot McLoughlin-trained gelding recorded a trio of hurdle wins all over three miles early last year and seems to be coming to the boil over fences this term judged on his latest effort at Navan when a close up third to favourite Call The Tune and Conqueredalofeurope. The latter is first reserve here and would be an obvious danger if getting a run. Portstorm is another light-weight to consider. He joined Colin McBratney from Ian Duncan last autumn and now races over fences for just the fourth time following a promising second over hurdles at Punchestown last month. Peaches And Cream and Spades Are Trumps provide Gavin Cromwell with a strong dual challenge, while Amaulino has been lightly raced since winning this race three years ago and won a point-to-point at Belharbour last month.
JOSHUA WEBB reacted well to first-time cheekpieces when runner-up at Gowran last week and he looks the pick of the weights on handicap debut. Thunderosa and Envoi Pierji are a couple of potential threats.

SCHOOL LANE returned in great form this season winning two point-to-points before also scoring twice under Rules at Down Royal and Fairyhouse. Liam Lennon's charge hasn't been disgraced on both outings since over longer trips and this looks a decent opportunity to regain the winning habit. Memory Of Youth has been in good form over hurdles this season, winning twice over 2m4f at Fairyhouse. Her jumping hasn't impressed in three previous outings over fences, but if that can be ironed out then she's certainly off a very lenient mark. Corrigaleen was placed in a 16-runner Punchestown handicap hurdle on her penultimate start and any market move would be interesting on her chasing debut. Drummullagh Rocky made all here last summer, while Nuttorridge also has a course win over hurdles to his credit.
The vote goes to MEMORY OF YOUTH, who has been going through a productive spell over hurdles recently and she's likely to prove a different proposition back in this sphere. Carried may have needed the run after 4 months off at Dundalk recently so he's put forward as the main threat back over the larger obstacles, ahead of School Lane and Drummullagh Rocky.

LANDRAKE has taken on high class rivals on both bumper starts and can take advantage of this drop in class. The Gordon Elliott-trained gelding came up against the brilliant Facile Vega when third on debut at the Leopardstown Christmas meeting and met another useful Willie Mullins inmate when runner-up to Madmansgame at Navan last month. Mullins is now represented by Tenzing who was 12 lengths behind the selection in that aforementioned Leopardstown race. He should be suited by this longer trip having again stayed on into third behind Patsy's Honour at Down Royal. Rexem was a fortunate winner of a point-to-point at Damma House in November.
LANDRAKE's second at Navan recently is comfortably the best piece of Rules form on show and he's well fancied to go one better. Tenzing took a step forward last time and it's hard to rule out further progress, while Rexem has landed a point on his only outing to date, so they're both feasible threats.
