SARABAD has failed to make his mark since arriving on these shores from France but he was sent off favourite on both starts last winter and is evidently thought capable of a good deal better by Willie Mullins. Bottler Rattler debuts over hurdles having landed a bumper at the first time of asking here in September but he has to concede weight all round while Kilmainham looks to be steadily getting the hang of things judged by his recent Fairyhouse fourth.

Top Tip: Sarabad (6)
Watch out for: Bottle Rattler (1)

Not a strong looking maiden hurdle, but Sarabad should have a simple task if able to recapture his French form. Bottle Rattler did well to get up in a steadily-run bumper here a couple of months ago and needs considering on hurdles debut, along with French recruit Ussius.

ANCIENT DAYS doesn't set an insurmountable standard but the form of his recent Galway second (2m) gives him sound claims here and he should have few problems with this longer trip. Inish Island shaped with considerable promise over hurdles last winter and should have a race in him, with similar sentiments applying to Torn Asunder, a winner between the flags and promising in bumper company so far.

Inish Island is a leading player on previous hurdles form, and with the prospect of more to come now in the care of Willie Mullins, is preferred to the hurdling debutants Torn Asunder and Solidago.

This shouldn't take too much winning and LOOKOUTNOW looks to hold the most solid claims having finished a good third over 2m4f at Down Royal recently. He appears to be going the right way over fences and can see off Littletown Lass, who makes a welcome return to fences this afternoon. Vapiano was well backed for a handicap hurdle at Cheltenham last time and although disappointing on that occasion, he warrants respect now sent over fences for the first time.

The vote goes to STREEDAGH LADY, who landed a gamble at Southwell in the summer and is back down to just a 3lb higher mark now after two moderate efforts since. Her stablemate, Whisky Galore, struggled when returned to fences at Down Royal recently but this looks easier, while Clancy Strand landed a Naas hurdle three starts ago and races off a 10lb lower mark now back in this sphere.

Cloone Spring built on his chasing debut effort when filling the runner-up spot at Wexford and there could be more to come, but this looks a good opportunity for JETSON to open his chase account. A smart novice hurdler last term, he has made the frame over inadequate trips on both outings over fences to date and appears to have less on his plate now granted a true stamina test. Mia's Vic unseated when thrown in at the deep end in a Grade 2 on his fencing bow but could fare better today.
