Verdict

Double Barrel Man is becoming a little expensive to follow having failed to justify favouritism the last twice, but Karl Broberg's gelding is consistent and should be on the premises if running to form. Cougar Country posted a rare poor effort last time out but looks capable of bouncing back. Preference, however, is for HOLD ME BLACK, a respectable fourth in a decent contest here earlier this month.
