This could be an informative race with a view to next year's Classics, and the Aidan O'Brien-trained MILWAUKEE fits the bill. Entered in the Vertem Futurity later this month, the son of Justify looks set to follow a similar path to stablemate Luxembourg, who landed that contest last year before his run in the 2,000 Guineas. The Derby could be in his sights, too, but connections will be hopeful he can pass this test first. Redstone Well was a shock winner of a Cork maiden last time on just his third career start and with possibility of plenty more to come, he's entitled to maximum respect, but slight preference is for KNOCKNAKILLA. Although he's still a maiden after 16 starts, Gerard O'Leary's gelding has been running well in defeat of late and this looks a great opportunity for him to finally get off the mark. A return to a mile looks the right move for San Aer and he could fare best of the rest.
