Verdict

MULLACH NA SI didn't show much in six Flat starts but he caught the eye staying on into sixth on his debut over timber in a 22-runner maiden hurdle at Punchestown last month and can take this. Keskesay stepped up on his hurdling debut effort when fourth at Down Royal last month, while NH newcomer Urban Spirit is sure to know his job at the first time of asking.

Verdict

OLD PEAK ROAD was well beaten in a novice handicap chase at Clonmel last month, but he returns to timber only 4lb higher than when second to Makemtakeit in a handicap hurdle at Limerick in November and he may prove the one to beat. Light On The Broom is also reverting to the smaller obstacles from fences and, rated a massive 40lb lower in this code, he's potentially thrown in. Novel Investment is a fair each-way alternative.

Verdict

There was plenty to like about the way good-ground bumper winner ITSMYLIFE fared in second on her hurdling bow at Naas last month and it would be no surprise to see her go one better on this occasion. 93-rated Flat performer Dani's Girl is entitled to respect on her hurdling debut. Polly Massini has been a shade disappointing since an encouraging fifth to Sophocles at Leopardstown over Christmas, but could go well if bouncing back.

Verdict

IN THE HIGH GRASS had the reopposing O'Muicheartaigh behind when third to The Budgee over 2m3f at Leopardstown in January and gave the impression he'd be suited by the step up to this distance over 2m5f at Leopardstown latest. He's On His Way hinted at a return to form when second to Dante Hall in a novice chase at Navan recently, but he has plenty to find with Tom Taffe's seven-year-old on official figures.

C&D winner CONDARA returned to prominence with victory on testing ground at Limerick last Sunday and a 6lb rise in the weights looks fair. He can follow-up here. Waly's Own has an 8lb rise to contend with for his success at Gowran Park a fortnight ago but Salk Lake is now only 4lb higher than when winning at Tramore in the autumn and should figure.
