Youm Jamil warrants respect racing off the same mark as when second at Warwick, while chances are also given to Silver Samba and Captain Cardington.
Silver Samba looks the pace angle in the race and she won't lack for assistance from the saddle, but course form counts for plenty here, which tips the balance in favour of Taste The Wine.

Shahdaroba wasn't beaten far in 7f Sandown handicap latest and can give a good account here if seeing out the longer trip, while last-time-out Goodwood scorer The Cayterers also has place credentials.
With Shahdaroba's stamina for 1m a big worry, this looks an excelllent opportunity for Fehaydi, who hasn't been able to confirm himself a well-handicapped 3-y-o yet, but that could well change here.

Elnadwa didn't appear to see out the 1m trip when seventh at Newcastle two weeks ago and is probably worth another chance dropping back in distance, but SARANGOO looks the safer option on this occasion. A few look to have chances in the finale, so LAGER TIME receives what is only a tentative vote. David Evans' charge ran right up to his best when runner-up in a 5f Leicester handicap last Saturday and the way he finished off that race suggests that stepping back up in trip tonight can only help. Edged Out wasn't beaten far off the same mark here latest and the past C&D scorer commands respect, while Jimmy Elder and Imperial Spirit are others to note.
A literal reading of Imperial Spirit's runner-up effort in maiden company on polytrack on Thursady makes him a 'good thing' from this mark, but he was almost certainly flattered, so Lager Time is preferred after a sound effort from a poor position at Leicester on Saturday.
