An interesting renewal which sees some Cartmel regulars take on southern based handlers, with James Moffatt running five runners at his local track. Last year's winner Altruism struggled on his return and has cheekpieces on now, while Space Ship and Captain Brown make appeal. Preference, however, is for Moffatt's NICOLAS CHAUVIN, who looks a shrewd purchase from Nicky Henderson's yard and the booking of Richard Johnson is noteworthy. Sailors Warn looked well handicapped at Stratford recently and is another to consider.
