The Peter Bowen-trained TRINITY ROSE looked to have the race sewn up before coming to grief at the final flight at Newton Abbot 15 days ago and, providing that she's feeling no ill-effects from that experience, she looks to have a great chance of making amends here. Lady Bernie produced an improved effort when finishing third at Bangor latest and could pose the main danger, while Edkay is another that cannot be ruled out with any confidence.

It is hard to oppose DON'T ASK ME. The selection proved much too strong when winning as he pleased at Kelso earlier this month and if he comes here in the same form, he should be hard to beat despite having to shoulder a 7lb penalty. Ben Britten was a winner when last seen over hurdles back in 2005 and he warrants the utmost respect returning to this code with Border Tale another of interest.
