Placed in four of his seven starts for Ger Lyons, HUTTON GLEN can make a winning debut over hurdles. Out of a useful dual-purpose mare, it's interesting that Tom Gibney pitches him into a novice contest straight away and the son of Aclaim will be fitter for his return to action at Leopardstown in May. St Faz, rated similarly to the selection on the Flat, has a nice bit of experience in this discipline. The Killarney maiden winner makes a quick reappearance after an unplaced run at the Curragh and has a healthy hurdles mark of 120. Churchwarden was highly tried a couple of times during the winter and will be fitter for a recent spin on the Flat.

Having shown promise in two outings for Cormac Farrell, the selection justified long odds-on favouritism on his first start for Willie Mullins at Tramore in November. That bumper was an ordinary contest but the five-year-old can improve for going over flights. One of three runners for Gavin Cromwell, the daughter of Doyen won three of her first four starts including a course and distance handicap in April and ran respectably in a mares' novice contest at the Punchestown festival. Back from a break, the five-year-old can show that she is still feasibly treated on her return to handicap company. The locally-trained BIRMINGHAM ALABAMA gets the nod in this open contest. The winner of a point-to-point when in the care of Colin Bowe, the Ocovango bay wasn't knocked about on her track debut, finishing an encouraging fifth to Just For Love. Cottesloe Sunshine was two places ahead of the selection in third and she reopposes now. Godblessyourosie finished fourth on debut at Limerick in May and is another who wasn't given a hard time of it. Entitled to come on plenty for that effort, she should get a lot closer now. Placed on her last three starts, Slim Marvel certainly wouldn't be winning out of turn, while few would begrudge Ta Na La if she were to get her head in front.
